Dalston LTN engagement is finally under way

In July after what feels like years of waiting, Hackney Council have finally published their plans for change in Dalston. Local residents are reviewing the plans and discussing the pros and cons of each filter, banned turn and bus-gate.  The council are calling this a liveable neighbourhood as opposed to an LTN; we are not sure of the difference! Check out all the details on the consultation page, and fill in the feedback survey.

We have noticed a potential rat-run via Cecilia, Montague and Sandringham, cutting the corner off between Dalston Lane and Amhurst Road, which we pointed out to the lead engineers on this project at the in-person session at Dalston library. They admitted this had been missed and promised to resolve it potentially with a banned left turn onto Amhurst Road. We will make sure we hold them to this promise!
